Loft Conversion in Temple Avenue West Wickham
Our customer based in Temple Avenue, West Wickham contacted us after receiving a recommendation from a previous customer of ours in West Wickham. We met up to discuss their requirements and with our advice we settled on a hip to gable loft conversion with en suite bathroom for a small walk in wardrobe partition.
Terry and his team did a great job, clean and tidy and very respectful to the rest of the home, we couldn’t be happier with the end product. He said the job would take 8-10 weeks and we were done in 9.
Tom who took care of the first fix was so quick and couldn’t do enough to accommodate what we wanted .
When we got onto the detailed stuff our carpenter Martyn was methodical and produced such a high quality finish. The bespoke dressing room and bathroom cupboard doors that he crafted are perfect.As always with this type of work things don’t always go to plan but whatever was needed was sorted quickly and with no fuss. Terry’s communication is second to none, almost on hand 24/7

Velux windows – 2x mk04 white
Bedroom – 1 bedroom to dormer , 1 on suite bathroom to rear dormer construction
Dormer – Tiled finish to dormer/gable to match existing tiles
Windows – Bedroom combination balcony 1800×2000, Bathroom 600×1000 and Landing 600×1000
Roof coverings – Reclaim existing tiles, flat roof will be EPDM rubber, new fascia and guttering on dormer front area
Carpentry –Skirting to match existing and architraves, storage doors, all new 1930’s 1 over 3 panel doors
Staircase – Will be pine strings and posts with 22mm pine, shaped pine newels, treads and pine shaped spindles, the staircase will be a double wind set and pine handrail
Plumbing – 1 radiator 1st & 2nd fix plumbing and fitting of suite
Electrical – 1st & 2nd fix, and storage light to front storage area x2
Plastering – Plaster full loft areas and down to first floor ceiling and Landing area plus new wall by staircase
Lighting– 15 Spotlights will be fitted to your new ceiling as necessary, 2, extractor fan to bathroom 2 way switch to top & bottom of stairs, switches to all rooms, smoke detectors to new habitable rooms
Sockets – 6 double to be fitted per room where client decides
Scaffolding – Included as necessary 2 sides for works
Access to loft space – To the front roof for steels and timber
