Loft Conversion in Palace View Bromley
Our customer based in Palace View Bromley contacted us after finding us from a Google Search. We arranged to meet with the couple that week to discuss what we could provide for them regarding a new loft extension.
After our quote was agreed, our architect began to draw up a draft copy of the drawings for the loft conversion.
I am absolutely thrilled with my new loft space which has given me a beautiful large double bedroom with a dressing area and a stunning shower room.

Party wall agreement – Drawn up by Smiths for you the client
Plans – Plans supplied for client by Smiths of Bromley
Velux windows – 2 x mko4 1x ck02 all white/dark plastic inside
Bedroom – 1 bedroom to dormer , 1 on suite bathroom to rear dormer construction
Dormer – Tiled finish to dormer to match new tiles, chimney rendered on customer’s side, the render can then be painted
Windows –Bedroom 2000 x 850, Bathroom 600 x 1000
Roof coverings – New concrete tiles + flat roof made from EPDM rubber plus new fascia and guttering on dormer front area
Carpentry – Skirting to match existing and architraves, doors to loft are all new fire doors, smoke detector system to all landings and all habitable areas, storage doors to front slope
Staircase – Pine strings and posts with 22mm pine, fluted newels, treads and square spindles the staircase is a double wind set to a 600 landing area
Plumbing – 1 radiator, 1st & 2nd fix plumbing and fitting of suite
Electrical – 1st & 2nd fix, and storage light to front storage area x2
Plastering – Plaster full loft areas and down to first floor ceiling and Landing area plus new wall by staircase
Lighting– 14 Spotlights will be fitted to your new ceiling as necessary. 1 extractor fan to bathroom and 2 pendants to landing room, 2 pendants to landings and 2 way switch to top & bottom of stairs, switches to all rooms.
Sockets – 4 double to be fitted per room where client decides
Scaffolding – Included as necessary 2 sides for works
Access to loft space – To the front roof for steels and timber
